1. How to Enter.NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. All THQ*ICE registered users in good standing who log in to Dragonica Online using their THQ*ICE Passport ID at least once between 12:00:00 midnight (PT) on December 19, 2009 and 11:59:59 p.m. (PT) on January 31, 2010 will be automatically entered for a chance to win a prize in the Dragonica Online Water Series Game Card Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) sponsored by THQ*ICE LLC (“THQ*ICE” or “Sponsor”). To become a THQ*ICE registered user and obtain a Dragonica Passport ID, visit http://passport.thqice.com/ui_web/register.html/ . Limit one (1) entry per THQ*ICE registered user. Sponsor’s computer is the official time keeping device for this Sweepstakes.
In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the relevant Dragonica Passport ID. A potential winner may be required to provide Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder associated with a winning entry.
2. Eligibility. Open to legal residents of the United States, the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are thirteen (13) years of age or older and registered users of THQ*ICE in good standing at time of entry. Void in Puerto Rico, all U.S. territories and possessions and overseas military installations. Employees, officers, directors and members of THQ*ICE, Best Buy Co., Inc., their respective parent companies, affiliates, members, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, wholesale distributors, and individual retail licensees and the immediate family members (meaning spouses, parents, siblings, children and their respective spouses) and members of the households of such employees, officers, directors and members are not eligible.VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
3.Winner Selection and Notification. The potential winners will be selected at random by THQ*ICE, on or about February 1, 2010, from among all eligible entries received. Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding on all aspects of this Sweepstakes and not subject to appeal. A prize won by a Minor (as defined below), will be awarded in the name of a parent or legal guardian. Winners must be THQ*ICE members in good standing in order to receive a prize. Winners (and a winner’s parent/legal guardian, if a winner is a Minor) will be notified by email within approximately three (3) days after being selected. Winner (or winner’s parent/legal guardian, if winner is a Minor) will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and, where lawful, a publicity release, within seven (7) days of the date of issuance or prize will be forfeited. If a selected prize winner is a resident of Canada, then he/she, in addition to all other requirements set out in these Official Rules, also must first correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered at a pre-arranged time by telephone.
A prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries and confirmed in accordance with these Official Rules (i) if a selected prize winner cannot be reached within seven (7) days following the initial notification attempt, is found to be not in compliance with these Official Rules, or fails to return the requisite documents in a timely manner, (ii) in the event of non-compliance with any of the requirements of these Official Rules, (iii) if the prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, and/or (v) if a selected prize winner is a resident of Canada who fails to correctly answer the time-limited mathematical skill-testing question.

The use of the gift card(s) is subject to terms and conditions of issuer. No prize substitution or cash redemption, except in Sponsor’s discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in its sole discretion. Prize is not transferable. All expenses not specified in these Official Rules, including, without limitation, taxes and insurance are solely prize winner’s responsibility. Prize winners shall be responsible for all applicable federal, state, provincial, territorial and local taxes including but not limited to any sales and income taxes.
5. Entry Conditions.By entering the Sweepstakes and/or accepting a prize, each entrant agrees (and by permitting a Minor to enter/accept a prize, that Minor’s parent/legal guardian agrees on behalf of themselves and the Minor): (a) To be bound by these Official Rules; and (b) To accept as final and binding the decisions of the Sponsor, and its agents in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. 6.Odds of Winning. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries.
7.Use of Winner’s Name and Likeness. Except where legally prohibited, the winners grant permission for Sponsor and those acting under its authority to use his/her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness, for advertising and/or publicity purposes in any and all media at the discretion of THQ*ICE or without consent or additional compensation.
8.General Release. IF WINNER IS A MINOR, WINNER’S PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIANS FURTHER AGREE TO INDEMNIFY EACH OF THE RELEASEES FROM ANY CLAIMS, COSTS, INJURIES, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES DESCRIBED IN THE PRECEDING PARAGRAPH WHICH MAY BE SUFFERED BY THE MINOR WINNER.
9.General Conditions. By entering the Sweepstakes and/or accepting a prize, entrants affirm that they have read and accepted these Official Rules. All decisions of Sponsor on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final. 11.Miscellaneous.This Sweepstakes is governed solely by the laws of the United States. The Sweepstakes and these Official Rules will be governed, construed, and interpreted under the laws of the State of California. Any claims arising out of the Sweepstakes may be brought only in a federal or state court in California. If any provisions of these Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify these Official Rules at any time without notice.
